Maine Restaurant Week

I consider myself to be a "Foodie". I really dislike the term, but I am. I enjoy good food, service, wines, the whole experience.I have friends who are chefs, restaurant managers, servers, and bartenders..when your in the service industry, you tend to mingle with fellow "Service Junkies".

I am most excited about an upcoming event, Maine Restaurant Week. Participating Chefs from 50 restaurants offer three course meals from $20.09 to $40.09..its a great opportunity to try a new restaurant, or stick to your old standby and support it.

Maine Restaurant Week starts March 1 and runs until March 10. I have included a link to the website. Aside from excellent dinner options, there are also events and tastings happening as well.

I am excited for this event for a few reasons-

1. It comes in March, which for me, is great because I have 4 birthdays this month, including my husbands.

2.We all need to try something new! Get dressed up and have a great dinner at a new place.

3. The Port Tavern and Grille in Kennebunkport and Grissini in Kennebunk are both participating! Thats super cool!!

4.Come on! Its March we have shoveled, shoveled, shoveled, we deserve to treat ourselves to something indulgent and affordable!
